NE Arts is a company offering a unique community based service to a wide range of organisations. NE Arts facilitates personal development & will allow you to bridge the communications gap which can occur between an organisation and the community in which it operates.

Our Business Philosophy

N.E. Arts was established in 2006 to bring together art, education & Personal Development in a fun, accessible way. Using interactive workshops we provide entertaining & informative activities for people of all ages & abilities. Beginning with an assumption that everyone has an inherent value & ability to develop we facilitate personal change.

Who we are

Eddie moved to Newbiggin-by-the-sea in July 2003 from Oxfordshire. Originally from Birmingham, he is a Geography graduate from the London School of Economics. In 2006 Eddie set up a successful community arts group - Newbiggin Arts Forum - www.newbigginartsforum.org
Eddie has a wide interest in the arts and enjoys music, painting, theatre & crafts. Also a trustee of the Newbiggin Heritage Partnership and involved with a variety of community groups and organisations, his talents lie in communications organisation, networking and direction of community based projects.

NE Arts is a company which has evolved from the experience I have gained whilst setting up & then establishing & promoting a community arts group in Newbiggin-by-the-sea – www.newbigginartsforum.org Established in January 2006

In doing so I have worked with various local district & county authorities, local schools, community groups, development trusts & N.G.O’s. I have experience of arts & culture projects, urban regeneration and heritage projects. The success I have achieved has been in large part due to the methodology I have employed to increase social inclusion & awareness of the Arts Forum.
